i feel like the entirety of the track is sans winning. hes killing you countless times, so hes winning. the only times in the fight where you feel you have the upper hand, or when youre winning, theres no music whatsoever. like when he cant fight you anymore and tires himself out, theres no music.

One of the things i like about the ultrakill soundtrack is that the creator often gives themselves kind of janky melodies and making them work

The fact you can connect Asgore, Toriel and Asriel all to each other just by music without playing the game shows just how powerful Toby Fox's composing truly is.

One aspect that I have not seen mentioned is that in the (very good and weirdly funny) manga adaptation, the knights of Castle Redmane, which overlooks this battleground start singing and chanting in unison towards the end of the fight. What I like about this is that it implies that the chanting and singing that we hear at the end of the track are Radahans soldiers giving a dirge as the tarnished warriors face him in battle. It is not a dirge of sorrow, but of joy as their general dies in a battle against a coalition of warriors, he dies the way that he would have wanted.

All of the music surrounding Cynthia is absolutely top notch and totally not what I expected from a Pkmn game. Cynthia is a lesson in pain and Garchomp will be your teacher.

BC/Malekith highlighted my weakness to radial moves. Bootysmackers beware. If it weren't for Godfrey's opening cinematic, Malekith's phase transition would be my favorite of the game.

Everyone, TURN DOWN EFFECTS VOLUME in the game or you won’t be able to hear the music as well. I didn’t change volume settings when I played and did not get this experience. Now I’m playin thru again with only the music on.

One of my favorite things about Davi Vasc is he talks about the theory of music. It sets him apart from other music reactors. Talking about things such as interesting time signatures, or which happy, sad, or tense chords are used, is really interesting, as least, to me. Do more of it! I love it!

I know I’m pretty late to the party but I just finished playing base rise and this is one of my favourite songs in the game, every time I visited the buddy plaza and I was greeted by this whimsical melody I always felt at home. It gave me like a warm feeling I can’t quite describe and this version captures it perfectly, and it feels almost nostalgic. Just wanted to say great work and thanks for the unique rendition of this amazing song!

For me, the end sounded like they leave it in a suspenseful note to tease the player into the game as if it was a musical cliffhanger: do you want to know what all this means and what happens next? Stay tuned!
